Truck driver ran over by unidentified vehicle in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 34-year-old-canter truck driver died on the spot after an unidentified vehicle ran over him while he was crossing to the other side of the Nileri flyover, Devanahalli late Wednesday night.The deceased has been identified as D Sridhar, resident of Chintamani in Chikkaballapur. Police are yet to trace the vehicle that knocked down Sridhar around 11pm.Commuters, who noticed the body, alerted beat police. Sridhar was alone and driving the canter truck from Hoskote to Bengaluru.
