The world was watching as U.S. President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, held a high-stakes summit at the iconic Great Hall of the People in Beijing. But it was Tesla Boss Elon Musk and Secretary of State Marco Rubio who stole the show.

The reason? A light-hearted moment captured Musk spinning around while filming a 360-degree video during the high-profile diplomatic event. The clip sought to showcase Musk’s curiosity and his visible admiration of China’s monumental state auditorium.

Another candid video captured Marco Rubio being fascinated by the ornate design of the ceiling inside the Great Hall of the People. At one point, he was seen speaking to another member of the U.S. delegation, seemingly praising the ceiling decor.

Trump-Xi Summit

Trump and Xi Jinping discussed a wide range of subjects — the war in West Asia, the Taiwan issue, and the Russia-Ukraine war — during the high-stakes summit in Beijing.

The trip marks the first visit by an American leader to China in nearly a decade.

After the conclusion of the summit, Trump told reporters that the talks were “great" and described China as a “beautiful, incredible" country. The two leaders then visited the Temple of Heaven — a UNESCO World Heritage site that was founded in the first half of the 15th century.
