Donald Trump claimed US elections are rigged and a global laughingstock, urging Republicans to back a "SAVE AMERICA ACT" with voter ID, citizenship proof, and mail in limits.

United States President Donald Trump has once again reignited debate over the integrity of America’s elections, declaring that the country’s electoral system is “rigged, stolen, and a laughingstock all over the world."

In a strongly worded appeal to Republicans, Trump called for sweeping changes in America’s electoral system under what he described as the “SAVE AMERICA ACT," urging stricter voter identification laws, proof of citizenship requirements, and limits on mail-in ballots.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump wrote, “America’s Elections are Rigged, Stolen, and a Laughingstock all over the World. We are either going to fix them, or we won’t have a Country any longer. I am asking all Republicans to fight for the following:

SAVE AMERICA ACT!

1. ALL VOTERS MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. (IDENTIFICATION!).

2. ALL VOTERS MUST SHOW PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP IN ORDER TO VOTE.

3. NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPT FOR ILLNESS, DISABILITY, MILITARY, OR TRAVEL!)."
