Tukaram is the new Deputy Commissioner of Yadgir

IAS officer Rahul Pandve Tukaram has taken charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Yadgir district on Thursday.

Mr. Tukaram, who is a 2016 batch officer, was serving as Additional Commissioner of the Public Education and Literacy Department in Kalaburagi before getting transferred as Deputy Commissioner here.

He completed his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata and before that, B.Sc from the University of Pune.

Mr. Tukaram has also served as Assistant Commissioner in Kalaburagi and Harapanahalli, Commissioner of Kalaburagi City Corporation and Managing Director of Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company in Kalaburagi.

He took charge on Thursday from the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Harshal Bhoyar.
