Two police officers were injured after a speeding luxury car crashed into a barrier at a check post, officials reported on Sunday.
The incident took place on Saturday when Sub-Inspector Raghuveer Kaparvan and Additional Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar were positioned near the checkpoint and signalled a speeding BMW to stop, police stated.
However, instead of halting, the car rammed into the barrier, resulting in injuries to both officers.
Authorities confirmed that the injured officers were transported to a hospital, where their condition is stable.
