Two engineering students drown at Srikakulam beach

Visakhapatnam: Two first-year engineering students drowned at Bhavanapadu beach in Srikakulam district on Sunday while swimming in the sea. The deceased were identified as S Yeshwanth (18) and G Agastima (18).

According to reports, a group of first-year engineering students from a private college had visited the beach. While they were in the water, the duo was caught in a strong current and was pulled deeper into the sea, leading to their deaths. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. TNN
