Two Indian passengers arriving from Bangkok were arrested at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after officials seized 25.45 kilograms of hydroponic weed valued at ₹8.9 crore.
According to officials, the operation was carried out on March 29 based on specific intelligence by the Hyderabad zonal unit of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. Acting on the input, officers of the DRI and the Air Intelligence Unit of Hyderabad Customs intercepted the passengers upon their arrival.
