Tyson Fury is coming back again, and this time, the decision has upset the people closest to him. In a new interview, Tyson Fury said his wife Paris Fury, his father, and even his brothers stopped speaking to him after he chose to end retirement once more.
This will be his fifth comeback. Fury is set to fight Arslanbek Makhmudov in April at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, on a card promoted by The Ring Magazine.Fury said nobody around him wanted him to return to boxing. “My dad stopped speaking to me for a while. My brothers stopped speaking to me, even Paris. Everybody cut me off,” he said. “Nobody wanted me to return and they made that clear… but, it’s my decision and my life.”
He admitted the choice may look selfish, but said boxing makes him happy and he plans to keep fighting for years.

While talking about his return, Tyson Fury also made strong comments about Oleksandr Usyk. When asked if he has accepted his defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, Fury rejected the idea completely. “He never beat me. He cheated. He cheated. I will never agree that he beat me. He’s a cheater,” Fury said. He did not provide any proof, and there has been no official finding of wrongdoing against Usyk.
Fury said he does not need help to deal with the losses. “I don’t need a psychologist to help me get over those defeats as they weren’t defeats,” he said.

The interview also touched on Deontay Wilder. Fury said Wilder will not return to his old level. “He’ll never get back to where he was, because I smashed him twice,” Fury said. He added that age and wear from fights have taken a toll on Wilder.Looking back at their third fight in 2021, Fury said that was the turning point.
He believes Wilder has struggled since then.Still, for Tyson Fury, the focus is simple. He says he fights because he wants to. “I’ve been through it all, I’ve seen it all, and I’m still standing,” he said. “I fight when I want, I fight how I want, and I fight for me. That’s it.” His return in April is now confirmed. Whether his family fully supports it yet remains unclear, but Fury has made one thing certain, the decision is his.
