Prayagraj police officer, who went viral for worshipping the floodwaters on his doorstep, and now dived into floodwaters from his first-floor window. A video of the same is viral.

Prayagraj police officer Chandradeep Nishad, whose video offering milk and flowers to overflowing Ganga and Yamuna rivers at his doorstep went viral, has now garnered the attention of social media users by diving into the river waters.

A video, widely shared on social media, shows officer Nishad jumping into the water from the window of the first floor of his house.

The floodwaters could be seen covering the main door of his house up to the halfway mark.

The video was shared by the officer on his Instagram handle, captioning it, “Today in the lap of Mother Ganga, Jai Ganga Maiyya,".

In a disclaimer, the officer also urged viewers not to imitate him.

“You are requested not to attempt such things. I am a former national swimmer," he mentioned.

In an earlier video, the officer was seen worshipping the floodwaters of the River Ganga outside his house.
