A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur caught his wife with her lover on a road on Valentine's Day, leading to a public brawl that was caught on camera and widely shared on social media.

The husband spotted his wife riding a motorcycle with her alleged lover. As soon as he confronted them, an argument broke out and quickly escalated into a physical fight in the middle of the road.

The husband allegedly assaulted both his wife and the other man. The three exchanged abuses and blows as passersby and locals gathered at the spot.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the altercation on the Meerut Road bridge. Officers brought the situation under control and took all three individuals to Hapur Nagar Kotwali police station.

Inspector Vinod Pandey said that the police intervened after receiving information about a dispute between the husband, his wife and another man. He said officers pacified both sides and initiated action against the husband and the wife’s alleged lover under charges related to breach of peace. Police are investigating the matter further.
