UPSSSC Declares Homeopathic Pharmacist Final Results; 395 Candidates Selected

159 belong to the General category, 107 to OBC, 83 to SC, 39 to EWS, and 7 to ST. 82 women candidates also secured selections under the female horizontal reservation category

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) on Thursday announced the final results and category-wise cutoff marks for the Homeopathic Pharmacist recruitment process. Out of 397 available vacancies, a total of 395 candidates have been successfully selected for the posts, leaving only two positions vacant.

According to an official notification issued by the commission, the final merit list was compiled following a rigorous process consisting of written examinations and subsequent document verification. Representatives of the UPSSSC confirmed that the two unfilled posts belong to the Locomotor Disability (LC) and Acid Attack Victim (AAV) sub-categories of the Persons with Disabilities (Divyang) category, which remained vacant due to the non-availability of eligible candidates.

A detailed breakdown of the selected candidates shows that 159 belong to the General category, 107 to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 83 to Scheduled Castes (SC), 39 to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 7 to Scheduled Tribes (ST). Additionally, the merit list features 82 women candidates who secured selections under the female horizontal reservation category.

The recruitment board also encountered shortages in specific horizontal reservation sub-categories. While seven vacancies were originally reserved for outstanding sportspersons, an absence of eligible applicants led the commission to fill these slots with other candidates based purely on general merit. Similarly, only four eligible candidates qualified against the seven posts reserved for dependents of freedom fighters, and no eligible candidate was found under the Ex-Servicemen category. In accordance with prevailing government orders, these unutilised reserved vacancies were adjusted and filled under the General category.
