UPSSSC Pharmacist recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the notification for Pharmacist recruitment 2026 on its official website upsssc.gov.in. Through this recruitment drive, the commission will fill a total of 560 Pharmacist posts under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services, Uttar Pradesh.As per the official advertisement titled Pharmacist Chief (Pra0A0P-2025)/02, the online application process will begin on March 9, 2026. Out of the total 560 posts, category-wise vacancies are as follows:
- Unreserved: 224 posts
- Scheduled Caste: 118 posts
- Other Backward Classes: 151 posts
- Economically Weaker Section: 56 posts
- Scheduled Tribe: 11 posts

Age limit

Salary details
Selected candidates will be appointed on Level-05 pay scale:

- Maximum pay: ₹20,200
- Grade Pay: ₹2,800

Educational qualification and eligibility
To apply for the UP Pharmacist posts, candidates must:
- Hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised university or institute
- Be registered with the State Pharmacy Council of Uttar Pradesh
- Have a valid Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 scorecard
Only candidates who qualify based on their PET 2025 score will be allowed to appear for the main written examination.
