Footage shows US Air Force HC-130J "Combat King II” Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) Aircraft and UH-60 Black Hawks flying over Southern Iran.

After the unconfirmed reports and claims by Iran that it has hit a US F-35 fighter jet and captured the pilot, videos of US choppers flying low over Iran are going viral. A video showing US C-130 Hercules flying very low claims that it is trying to search the pilots of the downed jets.

Additional footage also shows US Air Force HC-130J “Combat King II" Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) Aircraft and UH-60 Black Hawks flying over Southern Iran. The videos were allegedly taken by the locals in the region.

Iranian government sources on Friday confirmed that a US pilot is in the custody of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), after ejecting over western Iran from an F-35 fighter jet.

A spokesman of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters told state media Press TV that the jet was downed by a new IRGC Aerospace Force air-defence system.

However, there has been no confirmation from the US Central Command (CENTCOM) yet. Yesterday, on March 2, CENTCOM confirmed the downing of three US F-15E Strike Eagles aircraft flying over Kuwait due to an apparent friendly fire incident.

US launched ‘Operation Epic Fury’ on February 28 with strikes on Iran that resulted in killing of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei and several other senior leaders.
