High level talks under the Islamabad MoU concluded at Burgenstock, Switzerland, with Iran, the United States, Qatar, and Pakistan reporting constructive progress.

The first session of high level talks under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concluded at Burgenstock, Switzerland, with representatives from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the United States, and the mediating parties, the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, participating in the discussions.

According to a joint statement, the Lake Lucerne Summit was held in a “positive and constructive atmosphere" and resulted in progress, including the creation of a mechanism for further technical talks.
