United States President Donald Trump on Thursday shared another AI-generated video portraying himself as a doctor offering a cure for what he calls “Trump derangement syndrome" (TDS).

The video was first posted on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, and was later shared on X by White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino Jr.

The clip opens with an AI-generated version of Trump wearing a white doctor’s coat and a stethoscope.

“Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms can be relentless. Fortunately, I’m Dr. Trump, and I have a treatment plan. Let’s hear what some of my patients have to say," Trump was heard saying in the video.

Styled as a television medical advertisement, the video features AI-generated versions of several celebrities portrayed as patients discussing the fictional condition.

Hollywood Stars Feature In Trump’s AI Video

The clip includes depictions of Rosie O’Donnell, John Leguizamo, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts and Edward Norton, all of whom have publicly criticised Trump.

They are depicted as describing their experiences after being treated for “Trump derangement syndrome.

The term “Trump derangement syndrome" has frequently been used by Trump, members of his administration and his supporters to describe what they consider an extreme negative reaction to the US president.

Towards the end of the video, the AI-generated Trump character outlines what he describes as the treatment.

‘Turn Off Fake News’

“Turn off fake news, say your prayers, and if you ever feel anxious, just have a Diet Coke like me, and you’re gonna see a remarkable difference in your life," he says.

Trump has previously shared AI-generated images and videos on social media. His latest post comes as the entertainment industry seeks stronger legal safeguards against AI-generated deepfakes, particularly those that recreate a person’s voice or likeness without permission.
