VIJAYWADA: Four members of a family, including two children, were found dead in Andhra Pradesh's Bangareddypalli village in Chittoor Rural Mandal. The deceased were identified as Damodar, his wife Nirmala, their son Dilip, an eighth-grade student, and daughter Srividya, a sixth-grade student.

The deaths of the two young children have particularly shaken the village.According to preliminary police investigations, Nirmala had been suffering from serious health issues for a long time.Police suspect that Damodar, unable to cope with the emotional distress caused by his wife's deteriorating condition, allegedly ended the lives of his family members before taking his own.Police said Damodar first administered poison to his wife and children and later died by suicide by hanging himself.Investigators recovered a suicide note allegedly written by Damodar. In the note, he reportedly stated that no one should be held responsible for his death. He also mentioned that money was available in his bank account and requested that it be used to perform the funeral rites of his family members.Relatives and villagers gathered at the family's residence and broke down in tears.Chittoor Rural Police rushed to the scene, shifted the bodies to a government hospital for post-mortem examination, and launched a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
