Uttara Kannada third in State in SIR enumeration form distribution

With an achievement of 96.87% through distribution of 11,91,548 enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Uttara Kannada has reached third position in the State.

According to a press release issued by Uttara Kannada administration, the district has a total of 12,30,037 voters. Of this, mapping of 11,58,776 voters has been completed and 59,123 forms have been digitised, the release said.

In Kumta Assembly segment, 100% achievement has been recorded. During the household visits, 1,092 voters have been identified as relocated, dead and double entry in rolls, the release said.

77.93% achievement

The neighbouring Dharwad district has registered 77.93% achievement as on Wednesday with distribution of 12,63,933 enumeration forms out of the total 16,211,961 voters.

Of them, 60,140 (3.71%) enumeration forms have been digitised.

During the household visits, 1,158 voters have been identified as cases of relocation, death and double entries.

In Haveri

In Haveri district, 12,73,316 enumeration forms have been distributed in six Assembly segments as on Wednesday. The district has a total of 13,35,342 voters out of which the 3.22 lakh forms have been digitised.

The BLOs have found 2,851 cases of relocation, death and double entry, according to official release.

In Gadag

The BLOs in Gadag district have distributed 8,65,097 enumeration forms as on Tuesday. The district has a total of 9,02,947 voters. So far, 47,501 enumeration forms have been digitised in the district as per the release by the district administration.
