In a remarkable incident at Kot Majri, Yamunanagar district in Haryana, a 75-year-old man named Sher Singh defied the old adage that life cannot be restored once lost. Declared dead by a doctor, Sher Singh miraculously revived just before his last rites were to be performed. With funeral preparations complete, and as his family removed the nasal tube before bathing him, he suddenly began to breathe again, leaving his family stunned and overjoyed.

Last Rites Preparations

Sher Singh had been pronounced dead by a doctor from one of the most reputed private hospitals in Yamunanagar. The family had already initiated funeral rituals; wood for the cremation had arrived at the crematorium, the bier was prepared, and grieving relatives had brought a shroud. Food was also prepared for guests who had travelled from afar.

The Miracle Moment

However, a miracle occurred when Sher Singh was laid on the cot and the ventilator tube was removed. To the amazement of those present, he opened his eyes and began coughing.

His family promptly gave him water and rushed him back to the hospital, where his condition is now stable. Former Sarpanch Ranjit Singh recalled how the removal of the pipe and Sher Singh’s sudden breath brought joy, interrupting the funeral rites.

The family, who had already arranged the bier and shroud, were overjoyed to have Sher Singh back among them. Afterwards, the gathered relatives shared a celebratory meal before returning to their homes.
