Victory in local body polls reflects peoples’ trust in development: Shah

Gandhinagar: Union home minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that the BJP’s victory in the local body elections in Gujarat reflects peoples’ trust in development. He was speaking at an event in Gandhinagar where development projects worth Rs 620 crore of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation were unveiled.

Shah reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Gandhinagar into a modern, well-equipped city and making it the most beautiful and well-facilitated Lok Sabha constituency. In his address, CM Bhupendra Patel said the state govt is committed to creating cities with strong basic infrastructure along with a green environment that are pollution-free, garbage-free and slum-free.
