Just days after the successful release of his film Kingdom, actor Vijay Deverakonda has excited fans by hinting at a sequel. Taking to social media, the star shared an update with action director Yannick Ben, confirming that another installment is on the way and promising to make it "even more intense.

The 'Family Star' actor took to his Instagram Stories and reshared a post from action director Yannick Ben, who had worked on 'Kingdom'.
Alongside the post, the actor wrote, "@yannickben see you on set soon. This time we make it even more intense."
Yannick Ben had shared his excitement on Instagram, posting a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the film's action sequences. He wrote, "Kingdom is now on cinema!! It has been an incredible journey, thank you @gowtamnaidu for your trust, working with you has been great and I hope everyone will love the hard work that we had put into it.

According to industry analyst Sacnilk, the film has grossed over Rs 82 crore worldwide, making it Deverakonda's highest-grossing overseas release in the post-pandemic era.

Directed by 'Jersey' fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, 'Kingdom' revolves around Suri played by Vijay Deverakonda, who is recruited by a spy handler for an undercover mission to infiltrate an island off Sri Lanka, amidst the Sri Lankan civil war and controlled by a smuggling cartel. The movie also stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, Satyadev, and Venkatesh in key roles.'Kingdom' has now made its OTT debut today, on August 27, and is now streaming on Netflix.
