Vinfast VF7 EV SUV: Variant-wise features with price explained

Vinfast India recently launched the VF7 EV SUV in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The VinFast VF7 is being locally assembled at the company’s new facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu and is also the first model to roll off the production line. The bookings are already underway, interested customers can book the EV online or by visiting their nearest Vinfast dealership.

The booking amount is set at Rs 21,000 and the deliveries are expected to begin soon.The VF7 is offered in five variants - Earth, priced at Rs 20.89 lakh, Wind priced at Rs 23.49 lakh, Wind Infinity priced at Rs 23.99 lakh, Sky priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and Sky Infinity priced at Rs 25.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Vinfast VF7The Earth is the entry-level variant of the VF7 and gets features such as seven airbags, ABS with EBD, an electric parking brake, all four disc brakes, traction control, brake assist, hill start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, LED projector headlights with auto-levelling, rain-sensing wipers, 19-inch alloy wheels, heated ORVMs with auto-dimming and memory function, flush-fitting door handles, a glass roof, keyless entry, a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio system, a head-up display, a 90W C-Type USB port, sporty black vegan leather upholstery, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, drive and regen modes, and an auto-dimming IRVM.Vinfast VF7Next comes Wind, which gets all the features mentioned in Earth. The VinFast VF7 Sky AWD is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and carries the same feature list as the VF7 Wind. The top-spec VinFast VF7 Sky Infinity AWD builds on the Sky variant and additionally comes with a fixed panoramic glass roof priced at Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The VF7 is offered in both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions, both variants powered by a 70.8kWh battery. The 2WD setup features a 204hp front-mounted motor, identical to the VF6, while the AWD variant adds a rear motor, delivering a combined 350hp and 500Nm. On the WLTP cycle, the VF7 is claimed to cover 450km in FWD guise and 431km with AWD.
