The Vellore Institute of Technology – Institute of Science and Technology (VITIST) celebrated World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and grandeur at its campus in Vellore.

According to a press release, S.C. Pandey, Joint Director, Union Ministry of Education, delivered his keynote address and emphasized the Centre’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer in higher education institutions.

The guest of honour Vivek Tiwari, Founder and CEO, Audix Technologies (Mumbai) motivated students to pursue innovation with resilience and vision.

The event also featured a MoU exchange between Audix Technologies and Tenet Technotronics (Bangalore) paving the way for collaborative innovation and industry–academia partnership.

The celebration included recognition of 13 startups incorporated during the academic year 2024–2025, comprising nine student-led ventures and four faculty-led startups.

Winners of the NEP Day Startup Competition 2025 were felicitated for their outstanding innovations. Additionally, the ICC Special Edition Newsletter was released in the presence of Sekar Viswanathan, vice president, VIT, the release said.
