New Delhi: Vivo has officially announced its latest pair of budget wireless earbuds in China. They have introduced their latest Vivo TWS 5e, the earbuds were unveiled along with the Vivo S60 series, and they bring a highlight update to noise cancellation and battery life compared to the previous-generation Vivo TWS 3e. It is priced at 229 yuan (roughly Rs 3,039), and it is available in White, Black, and Sky Blue color options.
It follows the familiar stem-style design with the silicon ear tips and the rounded outer shells, while each earbud weighs 4.3g. Vivo is also offering them an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It supports up to 55dB hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation.
It also includes dual-microphone AI call noise reduction. Vivo is also providing several AI features like AI smart broadcast, instant pairing when opening the case, and real-time translation support.
Vivo TWS 5e uses 11mm dynamic drivers and it also supports AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. It also includes Vivo’s DeepX 3.0 stereo sound effects and spatial audio support, which Vivo stated are meant to create a more immersive listening experience while watching movies, gaming, or listening to music.
It also gets Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, dual-device pairing, and has a wireless range of up to 10 meters. The company is also claiming a low latency of as low as 42ms. The earbuds can last up to 13 hours on a single charge, while the charging case extends the total playback time to as much as 55 hours.
