Wanted man flees as Delhi cops get attacked by his family during arrest

NEW DELHI: A police operation to arrest a wanted man turned chaotic in south Delhi on Monday evening after the accused and his relatives allegedly attacked police officers, leading to injuries and his escape. The entire incident was captured on video and circulated on social media. Police personnel were also attacked in the incident and sustained minor injuries. According to police, the incident took place around 6:30 pm when a team reached Chandan Holla to execute a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Azam, who is named in a case registered at Fatehpur Beri police station.

A case was registered, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest him, police said.
