Zoom Communications has announced AI Companion 3.0, its latest artificial intelligence tool designed to help users manage meetings, tasks, and customer interactions. The announcement was made at Zoomtopia 2025, the company’s annual conference.The new version will be available in November 2025 at no extra cost for paying users of Zoom Workplace accounts. A customizable version, Custom AI Companion, will be offered at $12 per user per month.
Zoom AI Companion 3.0: Key features
Zoom said AI Companion 3.0 will be able to analyze meeting transcripts, chat history, documents, and public data to provide insights and summaries. It will also include tools for note-taking across Zoom and other platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.Other functions include automated meeting preparation, task reminders, writing assistance, and real-time voice translation. Users will also be able to generate reports and documents using data from both internal and external sources.
Business services updates
For customer-facing operations, Zoom introduced new features in its Customer Experience suite and Zoom Virtual Agent. These include AI tools to assist human agents, track quality of customer interactions, and provide data insights to managers.
Zoom also announced Zoom Revenue Accelerator (ZRA), an AI-driven sales tool that can identify potential leads, send personalized outreach, and schedule follow-ups.The company said the updates aim to make workplace collaboration and customer management more efficient by reducing manual tasks and providing real-time insights.
