Watch: Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat train's premium coach and its features

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the remaining stretches of the 82-km Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and the 23-km Meerut Metro on Sunday. The Namo Bharat train has a total of six coaches, out of which five are standard, and the other is a premium one, located in the front. The premium coach has a handful of features, including an emergency healthcare alarm and charging points on the side of each seat. In addition to this, the coach has blinders to protect the passengers from scorching sunlight. 

Keeping the concerns of a 50-minute-long journey in mind, the coach has a food vending machine, which includes several snack options and beverages. The passengers can scan the vending machine through an application and choose their preferred food.
