Rains News Live Forecast: As monsoon covered the entire country early this year, rain activity has intensified in several states with Himachal Pradesh witnessing massive destruction. The hill state has been receiving torrential rains since Monday, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a red alert for the hill state for today. The impact of rain led the authorities to release excess water into Beas River, which is now flowing at full spate, raising fears of flash floods. Further, one person died in Mandi due to a cloudburst incident while several remain missing. Meanwhile, the national capital also got relief from scorching heat as monsoon hit the city last week.
