Radhan Pandit has claimed that he served as a spiritual advisor to Jayalalithaa during key phases of her political career. Among his most cited predictions is her sweeping electoral victory in 1991, which he says he forecast accurately. Reports over the years have suggested that he was consulted on sensitive decisions, ranging from political timing and legal challenges to symbolic choices connected with her public image.

For a period, he was seen as part of her inner advisory circle, quietly influencing decisions from behind the scenes. However, the relationship reportedly began to deteriorate in the mid-1990s.

According to accounts attributed to Radhan Pandit himself, tensions rose after he warned Jayalalithaa of a difficult political phase beginning around 1994.
