Kinshuk Sen, whose father Palash Sen leads the Delhi band Euphoria, decided not to pursue a career in entertainment after observing the challenges his father faced. Upon realizing that Aditya Chopra and Vishal-Shekhar were involved, he was stunned. Most of the cast had already been selected, and he was among the last few to join, having not yet met Aditya Chopra or Vishal-Shekhar. He sent in around four or five tapes. One unforgettable day, while his mom and sister were visiting to buy an outfit for the premiere of his film ‘In a Silent Way’ (2020), they went shopping when suddenly his manager informed him that he had landed the part.
They all sat on the couch for about five minutes, unable to believe the news.Kinshuk Sen describes Shah Rukh Khan’s surprise visitDuring the same conversation, the actor recalled a brief encounter with Shah Rukh Khan when the superstar unexpectedly entered the rehearsal room of a song in London. He shared that Khan’s surprise visit left everyone in shock since no one had been informed. They performed a track for him, ending with the actor standing at the center.
Shah Rukh complimented the group and mentioned that he had also started with musicals but couldn’t sing then or now.
He revealed that another singer, Palash Sen, used to sing for him at that time. The actor described feeling goosebumps and serendipity during the moment. When he hugged and thanked Shah Rukh, the superstar said he hadn’t had the chance to meet his father in a long time but held fond memories.
