Most of the cast had already been selected, and he was among the last few to join, having not yet met Aditya Chopra or Vishal-Shekhar. He sent in around four or five tapes. One unforgettable day, while his mom and sister were visiting to buy an outfit for the premiere of his film ‘In a Silent Way’ (2020), they went shopping when suddenly his manager informed him that he had landed the part.
