Both of his parents are originally from Nigeria. According to ESPN, his mother works as an accountant.Although Balogun was born in the United States, he spent almost all of his childhood in London. His mother told ESPN that she was visiting relatives in New York while pregnant and ended up giving birth there. Within weeks, she returned to London with her newborn son, where the family raised him.That background later gave Balogun a unique international choice.
