As per Local 3 News, the young woman was born and brought up in Farmingham, Massachusetts. Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo is an older sibling and has a younger sister named Isabella and is survived by her parents, Monique and Nilson Perpétuo.

While it is not publicly how old Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo was at the time of her death, the young woman was just about to start her career in nursing.As per Local 3 News, Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo grew up in Florida and had moved alone to New York as she felt inclined towards pursuing clinical journalist.But Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo changed her mind soon and enrolled herself in a nursing program at the Broward College.

Her father, Nilson Perpétuo, spoke about it and said, “She was studying to become a registered nurse…She wanted to take care of babies working in pediatrics.”At the time of her death, Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo was just three months away from graduating with her nursing degree and starting a career in her chosen field.As per reports, Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo’s mother, Monique, added, "All those studies, long hours at the hospital with clinicals, but she did it. She was capable of doing it, and she was capable of finishing and she was going to be great…”While Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo and her family dreamt of her becoming a successful nurse and helping people in need, her life was tragically cut short on 5th February, at a rented home she shared with her boyfriend, the ex NFL player, Darron Lee.
