Dalit woman alleges abduction, gang rape, torture and forced conversion attempts in Batla House and Meerut, accuses Faheem and others, reports threats even after Faheem jailed

A 23-year-old Dalit woman has alleged that she was abducted, gang-raped and subjected to brutal torture by a group of men who also attempted to forcibly convert her religion in the Batla House Area of the national capital.

According to the complaint, the woman came in contact with a man identifying himself as Sahil through social media in 2021. She later allegedly discovered that his real name was Faheem. The accused allegedly told her he belonged to a financially well-off Hindu family and intended to marry her.

The woman alleged that in 2022 she was called to Batla House, where she was gang-raped. She claimed the accused, along with one of her friends, recorded videos of the assault and later used them to blackmail her. She was subsequently taken to Meerut, where she alleged she was sexually assaulted again.

In her statement, the woman claimed she later learned that Faheem and his relatives were allegedly involved in illegal arms dealings. “He used to soak me in blood to scare me. He would shower me with animal meat to frighten me," the woman said.

She further alleged that she was later subjected to torture by a man identified as Tasleem Maulvi.

According to the FIR, Faheem was arrested by Gurugram Police in 2025, and the mobile phone allegedly containing her photos and videos was seized, which gave her confidence that the material could no longer be leaked.

However, she alleged that Faheem later contacted her from inside Mandoli Jail and that she also received threatening calls from a Dubai-based number.
