Leading the adoption initiative, Sujaya Jagadish, a resident of north Bengaluru, adopted 20 stray dogs in the limits of the Bengaluru North City Corporation on Sunday.

The adoption was facilitated by the corporation as part of its efforts towards humane management of street dogs, promotion of adoption, and animal welfare, Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar said.
