US President Donald Trump revealed that he spoke with Iranian officials overnight on Saturday and warned against any attempts to close the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, threatening to take control of the waterway and collect tolls if Tehran made any such move.

“You close it, and you won’t have a country. You won’t even make it back to your fu*king country," he told Fox News on Sunday.
