WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Match Card: CM Punk Faces Finn Balor In World Heavyweight Title Showdown

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 brings CM Punk vs Finn Balor, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch vs AJ Lee to Chicago.

The World Wrestling Entertainment is all set for another exciting live event in 2026, with the WWE Elimination Chamber scheduled to take place in Chicago on Saturday, February 28.

The road to WrestleMania 42 heats up as WWE’s top superstars gear up to clash at the latest pay-per-view event. The company has revealed four high-stakes matches for Elimination Chamber 2026, all set to take place at the United Centre in Chicago.

One of the highlights of the marquee event will be the World Heavyweight Title match between superstars CM Punk and Finn Balor. Punk will be defending his crown in an exciting showdown.

The rivalry between the two wrestlers has been building toward a boiling point. Earlier, Finn Balor lost a world title match to CM Punk on a Raw episode in Belfast. Balor struck back at the Royal Rumble, delivering a punishing assault to keep himself in the title hunt.

In response, Punk requested General Manager Adam Pearce to grant Balor a championship rematch.

Next up in the match card is the ultimate WrestleMania 42 men’s qualification clash, featuring five of the leading superstars, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams and one yet-to-be decided wrestler.

US’ Randy Orton was the first to qualify for the Elimination Chamber after beating Aleister Black and Solo Sikoa on SmackDown. LA Knight joined him by overcoming Penta and Austin Theory on Raw.

Cody Rhodes bagged his spot after defeating Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn, while Je’Von Evans qualified by beating Gunther and Dominik Mysterio. Williams completed the lineup with a victory over Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest.

The Chamber winner will earn a shot at Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Tiffany Stratton, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley and Kiana James, along with one other wrestler, will be vying for glory in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Tiffany Stratton was the first to qualify after defeating Chelsea Green and Lash Legend at SmackDown.

Australia’s Rhea Ripley became the second qualifier after beating Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile. Alexa Bliss bagged her spot with a victory over Giulia and Zelina Vega. Asuka overcame Bayley and Natalya to lock in her place, while Shayna Baszler qualified on the latest SmackDown by beating Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax.

The Elimination Chamber Match will follow its traditional rules, with two superstars in the ring and four other competitors enclosed in their respective pods. At timed intervals, a pod will open, permitting that wrestler to compete.

Once all pods are released, eliminations will occur via pinfall or submission, with the final remaining superstar crowned the winner.

Also, in the women’s leg of the night, Becky Lynch will be up against AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship title. Lynch will be defending her crown, ending their recent feud with a statement victory over Lee.
