WWE NXT Results: Kelani Jordan Triumphs, Alba Fyre Falls To Tyra Mae Steel

The latest offering of WWE NXT entertained with some thrilling battles in the aftermath of the recent Heatwave.

World Wrestling Entertainment hosted the latest episode of the NXT at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida, on August 26. The exciting event captured the imagination of global audiences, featuring thrilling battles among the best wrestlers of the NXT brand. The build-up to the No Mercy on September 27 also intensified at NXT, as six action-packed duels caught the attention and entertained the packed crowd in Florida.

Lola Vice, Zaria and Sol Ruca vs Fatal Influence

A six-woman tag team tussle saw Lola Vice, Zaria and Sol Ruca team up against the Fatal Influence trio Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx. Sol Ruca and Fallon Henley started the intense clash, which featured a round of power-packed duels and heavy moves as the two teams refused to concede ground. In the dying moments, however, Lola Vice gave her team the ascendancy after delivering a spinning back fist and going for the pinfall to secure the win.

Alba Fyre vs Tyra Mae Steel

A singles match between Alba Fyre and Tyra Mae Steel allowed Steel to avenge her defeat at the recent NXT Heatwave. Fyre initially tried to taunt her opponent, who responded by throwing her around the ring with suplexes. Steel soon gained control of the proceedings and even overcame an interruption and attack from Chelsea Green to beat Fyre and set the record straight against her.

Josh Briggs vs Ricky Saints

In the men’s category, Ricky Saints battled out an aggressive fight against Josh Briggs. The intense duel saw the two wrestlers giving each other a hard time, not just inside the ring but also outside as Saints hammered Briggs into the ring post. Briggs, however, came back and almost gained a decisive hand over his opponent by taking Saints down for a near-fall before producing a flying clothesline, which Saints ducked to initiate his strong return. In the end, Saints unleashed a spinning DDT and brought Briggs down for the three-count.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair vs Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame

Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey faced off against Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame in a tag team clash that had Charlie Dempsey, Niko Vance and Shawn Spears present at the ringside. Dame attacked Grey initially before Sinclair came in and helped her with a quick double-team sequence. A highly competitive contest saw no team enjoy an edge for most part until Dame hit a popup powerbomb and pinned Sinclair for her team’s impressive triumph.

Myles Borne vs Lexis King

A men’s Blindfold match between Myles Borne and Lexis King then grabbed everyone’s attention after the two wrestlers had entered a dramatic feud backstage. Both players couldn’t find each other initially, but once they did, it kicked off an amusing tussle. Borne hit a nice Drop Kick on his opponent, who unintentionally ended up sending himself out of the ring by flying through the ropes. King also injured his hand when he mistook the ring post for Borne and hit it hard. The comical scenes unfolded in front of an entertained crowd before King cheated by removing his mask while the referee was blinded, which gave him the chance to unleash a finisher on Borne and bag his victory.

Kelani Jordan vs Blake Monroe

Kelani Jordan and Blake Monroe entered an interesting clash. Monroe scored the first takedown and seemed to fight for control when she repeatedly attacked Jordan’s left shoulder. But she got distracted after Jordynne Grace showed up, trying to leave the arena before finding the door was locked. Grace made her get back in the ring. Jordan took advantage of the dramatic scenes and came up with a split-legged moonsault for her win.
