The latest instalment of the WWE SmackDown on the 15th of August 2025 had an explosive couple of tag team bouts, while Drew McIntyre addressed the WWE Universe following his assault on Cody Rhodes previously. Fraxion took on Carmelo Hayes and The Miz, while Street Profits clashed against #DIY.

Alexa Bliss vs Piper Niven

Bliss demonstrated her dominance in the bout as she produced multiple awe-inspiring moments including a series of sommersaults before connecting sweetly with a DDT. There were interferences from Chelsea Green and Charlotte Flair, but Bliss found a way to put it past Niven, before Alba Fyre ran interruption after the conclusion of the fight to level Bliss. Flair looks to aid her partner, but end up being thrown past the barricade.

Fraxion vs Melo Don’t Miz

The tag team battle between the Fransion duo of Axiom and Nathan Fraser put up a brave fight against the Melo Don’t Miz pairing of Carmelo Hayes and the Miz. The fight was a compilation of high-action moves and deadly blows becofe the latter duo evetually clinched vinctory as Miz hit the skull crushing finale on Nathan Fraser to close out the bout.

Drew McIntyre Speaks

McIntyre made his way to the ring to reveal to the WWE Universe his side of the story following his assault on Cody Rhodes last week. McIntyre stated that Cody Rhodes could be missing in action for a prolonged period due to an injury as Rhodes and McIntyre came to blows afte the conclusion of their scheduled fight.

McIntyre emphasised how Cod had attacked him first before his own retaliation and that he compay is trying to hush down talks of an injury to star boy Rhoades.

McIntyrewent on to stress that he wasn’t the bad guy, but would stand up for himself when the bell rings.

#DIY vs Street Profits

The pairing of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa clashed against Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford in yet another tag team match on the night.

After an action-packed couple of minutes of to-and-fro-battle, swung the way of the STreet Profits as Agelo Dawkins smacked Ciampa with a lateral press before covering for the three-count.

Jacob Fatu, Jim Uso, Sami Zayn vs MFTs

The MFTs trio of Tonga Lau, Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo went toe-to-toe with the trio of Fatu, Uso and Zayn in the conclusive fight of the day as the episode finished off with Fatu, Uso and Zayn picking up the win as Zayn launched a helluva kick on Solo Sikoa to put and ed to the night.
