Xiaomi 17 Max debuts as brand’s latest flagship device

New Delhi: Xiaomi has officially released its latest Xiaomi 17 Max, their new member in its Xiaomi 17 series. It has a secondary rear screen and opts for the higher-resolution 200MP main camera, while it also houses a massive 8,000mAh Si/C battery.

Xiaomi 17 Max might be good for over 2 days of normal usage, with the battery rated to retain up to 80% of its charge even after 1,600 charging cycles, which is over 4 years of daily usage.

It supports up to 100W wired charging alongside 50W wireless charging support. Xiaomi 17 Max can also offer up to 22.5W reverse wired charging for other devices. Xiaomi 17 Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

It features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its display is rated up to 3,500nits of peak brightness and features a 32MP front-facing camera sensor.

It has a 200MP main camera which is equipped with Samsung’s HP9 sensor. It also supports up to 13.5EV dynamic range, an f/1.65 aperture, and OIS. It is coupled with a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, which also does macro photography. There is a third shooter: a 17mm equivalent 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor. Out of the box, it runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16; it also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
