'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' 7th April written update: Abhira hunts for CCTV proof against Meher

The latest episode of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' opens on a tense note as Abhira tells Arman she got scared because of Meher. But Arman is in no mood to hear her out. He tells her straight up that she failed in her responsibility towards Myra and is simply blaming Meher for it.

He also accuses her of using Mukti to reach Myra instead of genuinely caring for her.Abhira tries to explain herself, but Arman has made up his mind. He says he will break ties with her and remove her ring right then and there. Myra, watching from nearby, is visibly shocked. She trips while running away in distress. Arman rushes to help Myra, and both Mukti and Abhira try to assist. But Myra asks Arman to take her away from the strangers.

Mukti urges Arman to talk things through. Arman, still fuming, says there is nothing left to talk about since Abhira is entirely at fault.

Meher taunts Abhira

Meher wastes no time and goes straight for the jugular, taunting Abhira for losing both Arman and Myra. She then turns to Mukti and asks if she is scared and wants to go back to her parents. Abhira firmly warns Meher to stay away from Mukti. Meher tells Abhira to stay out of her upcoming marriage since Arman now hates her completely, and the Poddars are thoroughly done with her.

Abhira fires back, saying she will bring out Meher's truth no matter what. Meher laughs it off, saying Arman blindly trusts her and won't believe Abhira now. The two challenge each other, and then things take a shocking turn. Meher flat-out confesses that she killed Rajat brutally and is confident no one can ever expose her. Abhira asks her to stop being so overconfident and vows to send her to jail. Meher, unfazed, tells Abhira to get ready because she is marrying Arman in less than 48 hours.

Mukti, shaken, asks Abhira what she plans to do now. Abhira spots a CCTV camera nearby and decides that's her way to show the world who Meher really is.

Abhira's plan to expose Meher hits a wall

Abhira sneaks into the matron's room to pull the CCTV data while Mukti keeps watch outside, terrified of getting caught. Abhira is able to pass the information at the right time when the matron is about to enter the room. Mukti intervenes and distracts the matron and rescues Abhira just in time.But the victory is short-lived. Just as Abhira is about to send the footage to Arman, Meher shows up and smashes her phone. She tells Abhira with a smirk that she would never have confessed her crime if she didn't already know about every CCTV in the building. Meher makes it clear that Myra's school is firmly under her control and that she has already wiped the footage. She then coldly advises Abhira to take the money, settle down quietly with Mukti, and stop interfering in Arman and Myra's lives.

Abhira stands there completely stunned.

Myra pushes Mukti away

Meanwhile, Myra, after falling from her bed, finds herself thinking about Mukti and their friendship. But she quickly shuts those feelings down and decides to forget about Mukti entirely, calling her fake.Elsewhere, Madhav brings a dress for Kaveri. She asks if he is upset, and Madhav tells her he understands why she hid the truth about her health. Kaveri thanks him for being so understanding.

Madhav then says that Abhira and Arman simply cannot reunite now. Kaveri, however, points out that Abhira is still fighting. The two of them then spot Abhira in a quiet corner, deep in discussion with Aryan and Tanya.

Last hope slips away

Abhira asks Aryan to help transfer data from her mobile. While he works on that, Tanya asks Abhira to help her prepare kajal, and Abhira obliges. Aryan then asks her why she wants to transfer the data and what she means by calling Meher dangerous.

Abhira tells him she cannot risk their lives by pulling them into this. Then comes the blow: Aryan tells her the mobile is completely off, and the data cannot be transferred anymore.

Tanya asks Abhira why she is so bent on protecting Arman. Abhira says she wants to protect both Arman and Myra because she alone knows what Meher is truly capable of. With no other CCTV footage left to work with, Abhira thinks to herself that everything is finished.The episode ends there, leaving fans on edge.Precap: Arman burns his wedding pictures with Abhira and decides to close that chapter of his life forever. Damyanti welcomes the Poddars for the wedding but stops them, saying the aarti must happen first. And then Abhira stuns the Poddars with her arrival.
