Yesha Rughani gets engaged to Rabb Se Hua director Narinder Singh Bhambra

Yesha Rughani, best known for her role in the television show Rabb Se Hai Dua, which concluded in November 2024, recently got engaged to director Narinder Singh Bhambra. The engagement took place in a traditional ceremony at her residence in Rajkot.

Yesha met Narinder on the sets of Rabb Se Hai Dua. Recalling their first interaction, she shared, “I remember meeting Narinder on February 14. He is shy, honest and focused, while I am more outgoing. For me, it felt just like Kareena Kapoor’s line — ‘Yeh kaun hai jisne dobara mud ke mujhe nahi dekha’ — from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”Their relationship blossomed quietly over time. “We became friends and gradually grew closer. After almost a year and a half, we felt it was time to take our relationship to the next level.

Since we are both professionals, almost no one knew we were dating until the show ended,” she added. Sharing details of the ceremony, Yesha said, “We had a very beautiful engagement ceremony at my residence in Rajkot. I wore my nani and masi’s wedding sari for my engagement and it was a very emotional moment for me.

It was also a little filmy, watching Narinder arrive from my home balcony when he arrived for the engagement.”

Meanwhile, the wedding date is yet to be finalised. “We haven’t set a wedding date, but it will happen soon. For now, Narinder is busy directing a show, and I am focusing on my career. I’m really looking forward to this new chapter in my life,” she said.
