Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Medanta Hospital in Lucknow on Friday to enquire about the health of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. During his visit, the Chief Minister obtained detailed information from the doctors treating him regarding his health and the course of treatment being administered.
The Chief Minister prayed for the Mahant’s speedy recovery during the visit.
Following the visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared photographs of the meeting on the social media platform X. In his post, the Chief Minister wrote, “Today, I met the revered Mahant of Shri Maniramdas Chhawani and Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Shri Nritya Gopal Das Ji Maharaj, at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow and enquired about his well-being."

He added in the same post, “I also received information from the doctors regarding his health. I pray that, by the grace of Prabhu Shri Ram, he recovers soon."
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das holds two positions of religious significance. He is the Mahant of Shri Maniramdas Chhawani, and he is also the Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the body that oversees the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra in Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister’s visit to Medanta Hospital was confined to enquiring about Mahant Nritya Gopal Das’s health and receiving an update on his treatment from the attending doctors. No further details of the visit were shared beyond the photographs and the message posted on X.
