YSR’s padayatra inspires my journey, says Jagan

Recalling the impact of the historic padayatra by the former Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, YSRCP president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Thursday that a leader’s march on foot could reshape the course of a State’s history.

In  a message on X, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy noted that on April 9, 2003, YSR began his padayatra under intense heat to understand people’s hardship, instilling confidence among them and assuring his support, an effort that eventually propelled him to the Chief Minister’s post.
