Reiterating that the DSC-2025 teachers’ recruitment was fraught with irregularities, YSRCP leaders, including State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and MLCs P. Chandrasekhar Reddy, Lella Appireddy and Kalpalatha Reddy, assured the aggrieved candidates of justice, in a meeting at the party’s central office on Sunday.
Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy said the “scam” was orchestrated by government higher-ups with a carefully laid out plan for personal gain.
Vowing to fight a legal battle, he insisted that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and HRD Minister N. Lokesh were resorting to counter-attacks instead of clearing the air as they did not want their mistakes to be exposed.
The successful candidates should have got their postings by now but were deceived as the entire process was replete with leaks, system failures and corruption, he alleged.
The leaders asserted that if justice was not done to the DSC candidates, the YSRCP would give jobs to the eligible ones upon coming to power. Later, representatives of the party legal cell spoke to the “victims” and collected details to represent them in a legal battle.
