In a disturbing incident in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, four women allegedly trampled their 16-day-old nephew to death, believing this act would help them secure marriage proposals.

The boy’s father revealed that his sisters-in-law were responsible for the murder. He mentioned that they had been desperate to get married for some time and thought killing his son would bring them proposals.
“I want the murderers to receive the harshest punishment. Such videos are made to escape the law," he was quoted by NDTV.
Police have stated that the case is currently under investigation.
