65-year-old man dies after clash over land dispute in Ranchi

Ranchi: A 65-year-old person identified as Manki Pahan died under mysterious circumstances following a clash between two groups over measurement of piece of land in Hahap panchayat under Namkum police station limits, police said on Tuesday.

SP (Rural) Praveen Pushkar said that hours after the fight last night, Pahan fell ill and died at home. “Post-mortem of the body would be conducted to ascertain the cause of the death. Two persons of the opposing group have been brought to PS for interrogation,” he said.
