Ailee opens up about physical issues and struggles with pregnancy as an idol

Popular soloist and singer Ailee recently opened up about her struggles with regard to her life as an idol. The star talked about the kind of issues that come with this lifestyle, and how some of her physical issues caused by the grueling hours and schedules of an idol’s life have caused her to reach her breaking point as well.

Ailee opens up about the struggles of idol life

The idol recently took to her online channel to share a vlog video where she got candid about her career path and how everything has been for her. While talking about her struggle, she shared that she has been struggling with getting pregnant, even though it is something that she truly wants. However, even if natural conception would be a ‘miracle’ for her, she and her husband Choi Si Hoon have been caring for themselves and managing their diet as well.Ailee got emotional and further added that, “Watching videos of people like me who have difficulty conceiving naturally made me empathize so much. Just thinking about it makes me tear up again.”The ‘Goodbye My Love’ singer further shared that even if, after all of the effort that they are trying to put in, it does not happen, then they will opt for in vitro fertilization as a second option to conceive and get pregnant.

The physical toll of being an idol

During the video, the singer also emphasized how she has been struggling with her health due to her overworking lifestyle as an idol. The star revealed that she often wonders whether alk of her current issues are due to this or not. Since my debut, I’ve never really taken a proper rest. Because I’ve been working all the time, continuously. So I feel so…Thinking, ‘Did I overwork myself?’I feel quite upset and I feel so sorry to you (Choi Si Hoon), too,” she shared.
