Applications invited for State Film Awards

The Kerala State Chalachitra Academy has invited entries for the State Film Awards 2025. Feature films and children’s films censored between January 1 to December 31, 2025, books and articles published in 2025 will be considered for the awards. Feature films should be submitted as Open DCP (unencrypted)/Blu-ray. The application form and rules can be downloaded from the Academy website www.keralafilm.com. The last date for submission is 5 p.m. on February 16. For postal applications, a self-addressed envelope with a stamp of ₹25 should be sent to The Secretary, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, Sathyan Smarakam, Kinfra Film and Video Park, Sainik School P.O., Kazhakoottam, Thiruvananthapuram-695 585. Application forms can also be obtained directly from the Academy’s city office located at Archana Building, Statue Road, near St. Joseph’s School, Thiruvananthapuram.
