Amaal Mallik, the music composer and ‘Bigg Boss 19’ contestant who earned a spot in the top 5, spoke about his family's struggles, financial burdens, and health issues on the reality show, including a Rs 3.5 crore loan.
Citing that he is not afraid to talk about the truth, the 35-year-old explained his decision to recall the struggles on national television.

For Mallik, the singer is committed to talking about the issues honestly. “People worry about their image or their following. I don’t. If I’m telling my story, I will tell it fully,” he said in an interview with IANS, before adding that his parents had a different opinion. “Some things my [arents felt I could’ve said differently – naturally, their perspective is different from mine.

While Amaal Mallik was playing as a contestant on the reality show, he made headlines for speaking about the financial struggles of the renowned family of Bollywood. He recalled how the family had to take a loan during the difficult times, adding that no one offered them support. “During that time, we had a loan of Rs 3.5 - 4 crore because of multiple reasons, and no one, neither my uncle, nor anyone helped us,” he had said in the show.
Moreover, he also spoke about the health issues surrounding his grandfather. Furthermore, Amaal said that he never used his father’s name to get offers.

As for the result of the finale, Gaurav Khanna was crowned the winner of the season, receiving a dazzling trophy. Farhana Bhatt came as a close second and got the title of runner-up. Comedian Pranit More bagged the seat at the top3, while Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik were the third and fourth runner-ups.
