Bigg Boss Malayalam 7: Ved Lakshmi opens up about the journey that changed her life, says “My father disowned me and tried to kick me off the train”

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 continues to be a rollercoaster of emotions, blending intense conflicts with deeply moving personal stories. The recent episode turned emotional as wildcard entrant Ved Lakshmi, aka Lakshmi Harikrishnan, opened up about a traumatic chapter of her life that left the housemates and viewers in tears.During the emotionally charged task “Oridathoridathu”, Ved Lakshmi shared the heartbreaking story of her past. “My father was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia when I was just 10 years old,” she began, her voice shaking with emotion. She recounted how her parents eventually separated when she was 23. Despite the turbulence, she tried to maintain ties with both, but things took a devastating turn.“After completing my degree, I had to travel to Belgaum to collect my certificates.

My father accompanied me on the journey. But mid-way, he expressed his anger at me for choosing to support my mother during their separation. In a fit of rage, he disowned me and even tried to kick me off the train,” she said, breaking down in tears.Stranded and without money, Lakshmi had no choice but to continue the journey. In a heartwarming twist, a fellow passenger who was supposed to get down at Calicut noticed her distress and extended his journey to help her reach her destination safely.

“That journey changed my life,” she said.Lakshmi went on to narrate her struggles of raising her younger sister alongside her mother. Despite personal hardships, she never gave up on her dreams.
