In a post on X, he wrote, “I have received an income tax notice, accusing me of committing a crime for distributing money to help flood victims. If that is considered a crime, then I will proudly continue to commit this crime of helping every deprived and suffering person!"
“In Maniyari village, under Nayagaon East Panchayat of Vaishali district, the homes of flood victims were completely washed away by the Ganga. If I hadn’t helped them, should I have remained a silent spectator like the Minister of State for Home, the local MP, and those self-proclaimed candidates for Chief Minister?," he added.
